Putin says worries about falling agricultural output in Rostov Reg

MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed concern on Monday over decline of agricultural production in the Rostov Region.

"But you know what I have noticed? Agricultural production fell in 2018, 2019 and at the start of this year,” he said.

“The Rostov Region is a large industrial region but it is a southern region as well, a region with agriculture, and there is a trend of decline of agricultural output in the Rostov Region coupled with such serious growth of agricultural production in the country at large. It worries me, and it continues."

He offered help to Governor of the region Vasily Golubev.
